* The role will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the Group’s Financial Accounting and Payments Management Platforms. These are a complex blend of internally developed applications and ETL processes which integrate with Commercial-of-the-Shelf Systems.

* The role will be responsible for the execution and delivery of the Finance and Payments Transformation Programme. The purpose of the programme is to replace and migrate in-house developed systems to SaaS/Cloud-hosted Solutions and leverage the full capabilities of existing CoTS Systems.

* In addition, the role will manage the team’s resource for BAU Development and Production Support in parallel to the transformational activities.

* To gain a deep understand the existing Finance and Payments IT Systems and Business Processes

* Lead the planning, execution and delivery of the transformation programme to its target end-state

* Foster collaboration and effective communication of teams across IT and the Business

* Ensure the production of high-quality solution documentation, architecture diagrams and project artefacts

* Compliance with all regulatory frameworks which are in use within the Northview Group

* Provide direct oversight and ownership of Production/BAU support, incident and problem management of existing Finance and Payment systems in parallel to the transformational activities

* Assume ownership of the IT Finance and Payments Operational Risk Universe

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Extensive experience leading the development, support and transformation of Finance and Payment Platforms

* Extensive experience of Financial Accounting Practises in a regulated organisation

* Experienced in leading and steering IT transformational programmes

* Experienced in migrating complex and integrated systems

* Experience in leading the migration of On-Premises Systems to SaaS/Cloud-based Platforms

* Strong knowledge and experience of the Software Development Life Cycle and Change Management within a regulated environment

* Solid experience in DPA, GDPR, and Information Security


* Experienced in leading migrations involving the following systems;

* Microsoft Dynamics GP

* AutoRek (or similar Reconciliation Software)


* 15+ Years’ experience as an IT Professional in a Financial, Insurance or other regulated organisations in the UK

* 5+ Years IT Leadership/Management Experience
