A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to work in the Civil Litigation team of our Exeter office. This role is a full time opportunity working 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
You will undertake a varied civil litigation caseload particularly relating to property litigation. As well as running your own caseload, you will be assisting the partner in charge of the team and other lawyers on larger cases, so you will need to have a flexible approach and the ability to work in a team.
In addition to fee earning work, there will be administrative and Lexcel compliance duties. You will be required to participate in team projects and be involved in business development activities including pipelining, marketing and pricing.
Are you the right person?
The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Litigation, and is committed to progressing their career in the field.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on exceptional client care. You will be highly organised, accurate, proactive and committed to meeting deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure. Excellent all round communication skills, professional telephone manner and attention to detail is essential. You will also have a flexible approach and ability to work within a team environment.
Experience with property law issues is essential.
