School of Engineering and Physical Sciences From award-winning brand campaigns, to the design and delivery of graduation programmes and certificates, the Marketing and Communications Directorate brings alive a consistent global brand for Heriot-Watt University. Within the Directorate, the Marketing team is focused on the recruitment of students to the University from across the world, and promoting the Heriot-Watt brand. We work closely with marketing and recruitment colleagues on our UK and international campuses to provide direction, coordination of activities, and share best practice. The role will be to to develop and deliver professional marketing to promote programmes and research in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, which can drive student recruitment and increased brand reputation. From marketing planning to the delivery of targeted marketing/re-marketing campaigns and conversion, we’re looking for an innovative professional marketer, able to deliver effective marketing campaigns. You will responsible for leading the planning and delivery of content and social media campaigns that showcase students, programmes and academic activities within the School, so it’s important you have a passion for all things digital. Your experience of harnessing digital channels will ensure our advertising, website, social media and CRM system deliver compelling content to the right audience, turning awareness into enrolled students for the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences. And last but not least, your proven ability to build effective relationships with academic colleagues within the School, and with other marketers in Central and other Schools, is critical to deliver great marketing and build your own professional development. You will have a First or Higher degree in Marketing or equivalent together with experience of developing and delivering demonstrably successful digital marketing campaigns and experience of managing digital campaigns and channels including websites and CRM (E-mail marketing) systems and utilising relevant systems (e.g. Hootsuite) The post is available for 36 months This role does not meet the minimum requirements set by UKVI to enable sponsorship of migrant workers.
