Reed Property & Construction are delighted to be working alongside their large-scale construction focused client to fill vital positions during a period of growth. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large scale contract which will have a significant impact in the North-east of Scotland. You will be involved in the rolling out of improvements to homes in Aberdeen and Shire, mainly to the South. The main areas of home improvements will concern the following areas - * Kitchens * Bathrooms * Communal door entry * Heating systems * Re-roofing * Doors * Wall insulation (cavity, external or internal) * Windows * Rewiring * Dormer window * Photovoltaic solar roof panels In line with this, our client is looking to add two CAD Technicians to their team on a permanent basis. Mainly, you will be offering design advice on areas such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades, boiler upgrades, window and door replacements, electrical requires and other remedial works. Other duties of the role will include, but not be limited to - * Liaison with residents to provide support and information during the refurbishment and maintenance works * Preparing conceptual and detailed working drawings * Taking survey floor plan sketches and translating onto AutoCAD to include new upgrades and installations * Filing and updating of drawing register whilst overseeing any alterations or variations * Document control * Site visits We are looking for candidates with the following - * HND or Degree within CAD (desirable) * Experience of working within a drawing office * Previous experience working in a similar role * Full UK Drivers Licence * Proficiency in all standard Microsoft packages * Ability to interpret hand drawn sketches and convert to standard drawings If you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period If applying directly by e-mail, please ensure you answer all of the qualifying questions listed below?
