Our client is a leading manufacturing company of construction products currently seeking a Production Manager with significant experience in a manufacturing industry to report to their General Manager. The Production Manager is responsible for the planning, organisation and control of the production on this site ensuring products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard by a process of planning, scheduling, relaying strategies and managing staff to ensure a quality of services delivery. The successful candidate will have the interpersonal skills to allow appropriate site interaction, have good process management skills and problem solving skills using rigorous logic to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. The Production Manager will be a business as well as process manager. A BS degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing/ProcessManagement/Engineering is desirable as well as formal qualifications in appropriate Lean Management tools with a proven record in delivery of same to direct reports.
