This City firm has a highly successful disputes practice, covering the full range of contentious matters across a variety of sectors. The group has a unique opportunity for a high-performing and experienced professional support lawyer to create and lead a new knowledge team for the disputes practice group.

Knowledge is at the heart of the firm’s strategy, and the individual will play the leading role in building this key function, as well as being a key member of an innovative, market-leading and purposeful knowledge team.

You will work with other members of the knowledge team and business development team to help build the professional support function, assist with business development activities and the Firm's Sector strategy. You will also be responsible for building and leading a small team.

The expectation is that, once appointed, the individual will work with the Head of Knowledge and other stakeholders to appoint a second member of the newly-created D&R Knowledge Team. The individual would then be responsible for the line management of that second team member.

To be considered for this role, you will be a senior private practice litigation lawyer, ideally with some professional support experience. you will have strong theoretical, practical and up-to-date knowledge of law and regulation within at least one of the following areas: Commercial Litigation; International Arbitration; or Regulatory Disputes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer who is looking to take on the next challenge and build a successful professional support practice.
