Do you have a proven sales background geared heavily towards relationship building along with some new business? Do you have an interest in Motorsport? Are you looking to be the face of the business and work alongside some highly influential individuals within exciting and fast moving sectors?


Established for over 40 years this market leading, niche manufacturing company supply lightweight, high end, bespoke products to a range of high profile sectors, such as F1, Motor Sport and Defence. They have some exciting plans in place to further expand the business and enter new emerging markets and are therefore looking to recruit a Sales Manager.

This is an extremely autonomous and highly responsible role, where you will manage all of the Sales and Marketing functions of the business. You will establish and maintain on-gong relationships with new and existing customers. You will be expected to travel between 3-5 times a year liaising with racing team managers and developing relationships. You will look after their whole client base as well as preparing budgets, sales forecasts and strategic planning. Project values will range between £2k - £5k up to £500k, therefore the project timescales will vary.

This role represents a unique and rare opportunity to work within an exciting sector, deal with influential characters within the market place whilst championing a product that is highly sought after and has a 70% quote to order success rate.

This role would therefore ideally suit an ambitious, proactive Sales Manager who has experience of dealing face to face with high profile customers. The Role:

* Sales Manager
* Establish and maintain partnerships with all the main F1 teams and Motorsport companies
* Office based with occasionally visits across UK and Europe 3-5 times a year.
* Managing projects from initial query through to design, manufacture and delivery.
* Improving and developing relationships with new and existing companies

The Person:

* Sales Manager

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience of working within Motorsport, Aerospace or similar
* Significant Customer interface
* Must have experience of engineering / manufacturing
