Main Purpose of Role

We are looking for a number of talented AEM Developers to join our Digital Customer Experience (DCX) practice in the UK. The right person enjoys working as part of a team, and would like opportunities to grow and develop their skillset across the board. To be successful you will be highly motivated to achieve the common goal and have a strong focus on quality. Our people enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and liaising closely with internal stakeholders such as our Engineers and Architects, Product and Marketing teams, Project Managers, Customer Support and Account Managers to deliver our software solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the AEM Developer in a Scrum Team for current and future strategic digital programmes.

• Leading the technology implementation of ‘Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)’ as a strategic content management platform for a leading Digital Delivery team

• Lead the definition of AEM development standards and frameworks, software architecture, design principles and ways of working

• Establish the operating model for AEM development (and contribute to this as a group-wide initiative)

• Mentoring and growing with team members

Required Experience

• Hands-on development with AEM in an Agile team. Must have detailed experience and knowledge of developing with AEM version 6.1 or higher

• Experience working in agile software teams

• Excellent knowledge and experience on Adobe AEM, with expertise on all AEM Stack: AEM Modules, Granite, Sling, OSGi and JCR.

• Working experience implementing Templates, Components, Dialogs, DAM and Workflows in Adobe AEM platform.

• Good working experience in component based development with Java and experience developing with JDK 1.8.

• Working experience in Java Unit Testing using Mockito and PowerMock frameworks.

• Strong working knowledge of Agile Software Architectures.

• Experience in Agile Scrum environment.

• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, such as Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Maven) & Static Analysis software (SonarQube, Coverity).

• Experience in the following frameworks related with Adobe AEM: Sightly, Sling Models and WCM Use API.

• Working experience designing AEM Component Dialogs for Touch UI with Granite UI framework.

• Robust communications skills with an open and honest attitude

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to own issues and follow through on solutions and projects

• High levels of oral and written communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions, be organized and work autonomously in a global team

• Hard worker able to manage deadlines and priorities

• Strong Task and Time Management.

• BS Degree, or studies, in Computer Science, IT

• Relevant work experience could substitute for educational qualifications

Location and travel:

Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles will involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
