£30,000 - £36,000 + call-out, enhanced overtime, vehicle and benefits

The Client

Our client is a UK industry leader in utilities and facilities management has a requirement for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on a new maintenance contract that my client has secured in the Dover region.

The role holder will be responsible for carrying out Mechanical Maintenance tasks including Air Conditioning maintenance and fault repair, Air Handling unit repairs and maintenance, hot and cold water system repairs and maintenance, domestic commercial and some industrial installations. Reactive calls planned preventative maintenance fault finding repair work singing off work and assisting the site engineers with other PPM and Reactive tasks as required. Responsible for all record keeping associated with works carried out including quality, health & safety and environmental documentation.

Reporting to the site manager, he/she will provide support in delivering service excellence and ensure all site records are compliant and up to date. All PPE, uniform, and specialised tools will be supplied.

To carry out reactive calls planned preventative maintenance fault finding repair work singing off work call out rota. Plus working overtime when and where requested, due to the nature of the contract.

A methodical approach to work checking each element is complete. Good communication and always use / follow company safety policies and procedures and adhere to all Health and Safety legislation in place.

Requirements:

* City & Guilds 2079 GAS and ODS qualified;

* Substantial experience in a mechanical facilities services related role.
