The Role – Teacher of English

You must be a well-qualified English Teacher able to start in Feb Half Term 2018. This Secondary School is looking for an English Teacher to inspire enthusiasm in their pupils and assist in maintaining the schools high academic standards. In this post you must be able to support those with different languages and cultures and adapt lessons for those with different abilities. They are open to newly qualified entrants and also those with more experience. As an English Teacher you would be someone who would be eager to throw themselves whole heartedly into the position and the extra-curricular life of the school. Above all, you must be passionate about your subject and want to pass this on to your students.

You Will:
**Have QTS/QTLS and hold PGCE
**Strong subject knowledge
**Ability to teach English up to Key Stage 4, KS5 advantageous
**Must be able to start Jan 2019
**Have proven track record of experience as a Teacher of Media Studies
