The role will be based in Sutton from January 2019

Kisimul Group is recruiting for a Trainer to join our Training team. The post is to deliver training to our staff based at our residential school at Woodstock House in Long Ditton close to Surbiton in Surrey. The trainer will be based at our new offices which will be in Sutton from January 2019.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with 30 days annual leave.

About The Job:

The post-holder will work with the Training Supervisor and Group Training Manager to ensure the effective delivery of the Kisimul Group training programme. You will provide high quality training delivery and BTEC/QCF diploma assessment services to our staff, as well as operational support to the Training Supervisor, including performance information for Diploma candidate progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the collation and updating of accurate training records, including monthly reports on progression and completion.

Design, deliver and evaluate in-house training sessions.

Maintain currency and accuracy of training materials.

Manage and support a caseload of candidates working towards diplomas.

Work with Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.

Ensure statutory training requirements for employees are met, in line with care and education standards and legislation.

Essential Experience Skills & Qualifications

3 years’ experience of training design and delivery in a similar operational setting

Relevant transferable assessment qualifications and assessor experience

Knowledge of training delivery in the Care sector, for both Adults and Children

Understanding of workplace competency-based qualifications and assessor/IQA system

Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills

Ability to manage own time and work on own initiative

Ability to conduct training needs analysis and onward planning

Remuneration Package

The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package that will consist of a basic salary of £24,725.40 pa, as well as comprehensive training and other company benefits such as: Pension, Life Assurance, Child Care Voucher Scheme and not to forget our Stunning Work Locations.
