A school based in South East London are looking for a hardworking, organised Personal Assistant to Deputy Head. You must have strong administration skills coupled with excellent Microsoft Word and Excel experience. This position is ideally immediate but we can wait for the right perosn until Jan 2019. You will be required to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm. You also MUST have a valid enhanced DBS and be eligible to work in the UK with great adamin and people skils.

This school is based in South East London & is a co-educational School with academy status of academic, creative and vocational Studies catering for students aged 11-19. It is a specialist college in Maths and Performing arts and is one of the top most popular and oversubscribed maintained schools in the Country. Average class sizes are 20 across all subjects and significantly smaller in the Sixth Form.

You will be required to:
• To be PA to the Deputy Headteacher, providing confidential and strategic administration support to the Deputy Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
• Lead the Administrative support roles
• Leading the organisation of the Deputy Headteacher’s calendar, appointments and coordination across the SLT
• To be PA to the Deputy Headteacher and designated SLT, managing their correspondence, arranging meetings and to be the first point of contact for appointments
• To oversee, coordinate and lead exclusions and admissions on behalf of the Pastoral Deputy Headteacher
• Taking minutes for any meetings as necessary
