Senior Finance Analyst EMEA – Avis Budget Group

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst EMEA to come and join our FP&A team based in our Bracknell HQ.

As a Senior Finance Analyst EMEA, you will report into the Head of FP&A and be focussed on partnering two functional directors and their teams- the EMEA Fleet and Supply Chain Director and the EMEA Director of Customer Operations. This will include working on business critical projects such as Connected Car/ Connected Country. The role therefore sits at the heart of the business, building and providing data and reporting to inform key operational decisions across the region.

Avis Budget Group is striving to adopt a data science/analytics approach to its analysis and reporting and this role will be a key driver of this along with the Commercial Finance team to deliver improved standardised CSI, Operations & Fleet insights.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting business case creation through leading the financial modelling and acting as the finance business partner to the project team, with a clear responsibility to both challenge and question assumptions and support finding solutions. Secondly, providing ad hoc analytical support on business questions, business performance to help inform decision making on a day to day basis.

* Production of regular performance reports for EMEA and support other initiatives and projects on an ad hoc basis.

* Your outstanding communication skills will help you to effectively communicate complex concepts, and you will be confident in challenging and supporting your internal customers.

What we are looking for

* Qualified Accountant – ACCA/CIMA or ACA

* Previous experience in a role providing financial analysis in a commercial environment

* Highly analytical individual with an inquisitive mindset

* Excellent communications skills, able to communicate complex concepts to a varied audience in an articulate manner and challenge senior stakeholders

* You will be willing to learn and develop by researching and using development resources to enhance your skills to increase contribution to analysis and business decision making.

* This role uses large data sets so an awareness of R and Python would be advantageous
