Due to recent and exciting growth within the company, our leading and fresh thinking distribution client is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their Cheshire based office.

Working within a fast-paced and team focused environment, you will be part of a diverse sales and purchasing team across the administration department.

Job Description:

Your role as a Purchasing Administrator will see you liaising directly with suppliers to build long standing relationships and source prices, arrange samples and handle queries.

You will get the chance to be directly involved in creating purchasing orders, processing sales orders and supporting with invoicing and customer queries.

You will assist with:

* Supplier queries, over the telephone and email
* Supporting with processing purchase orders
* Supporting with transport arrangements
* Arranging the freight and delivery of goods imported / exported

Candidate Requirements:

The role of Purchasing Administrator would best suit an experienced administrator who has worked with suppliers and purchasing. You will be a team player, will enjoy the challenge of a varied and fast paced role and will possess the ability to contribute to the success of the business.

You will:

* Be a confident and organised individual with excellent communication and grammar
* Experienced with handling pressure in a demanding and fast paced industry
* Be comfortable demonstrating a good working knowledge of Sage
* Be motivated to work alone as well as part of a team
* Have an excellent attention to detail
* Have knowledge of export documentation ideally

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: Buyer, Supplier Coordinator, Supply Chain, Material, Sourcing, Procurement.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5:00pm

Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience
