Human Resources Business Partner - 12-month Fixed Term Contract – Leisure + Attractions

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

Location: North of London

MUST HAVE HR BUSINESS PARTNER EXPERIENCE OR REGIONAL EXPERIENCE

The Company:

Our client helps develop commercially driven visitor destinations to maximise and create commercial opportunities and operational efficiencies and enhance profitability and growth. They are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner with strong experience from a commercial business

The HR Business Partner role:

Act as a role model, as the trusted advisor to managers within the Trust/Authority.
To assist the Senior HR Business Partner in the development of workforce planning for the Trust/Authority to assist the delivery of the service and strategic aims of the Trust/Authority.
To work very closely with managers, to develop HR solutions in response to organisational people management issues. This requires an in depth understanding of the needs of the organisation and its operations, including site visits at least once a week.
To build excellent working relationships with all line managers, building trust and confidence through Human Resources expertise and guidance.

To provide Human Resources guidance and support to line managers, including providing advice on terms and conditions, managing prolonged or persistent sickness absence, handling disciplinary procedures and resolving grievances, equality and harassment allegations, and capability and performance management plans.
To ensure that the procurement of services is aligned to the Trust’s/Authority’s Financial Regulations in support of HR provisions.
To deliver training interventions as appropriate. To provide line managers and employees with training and development. To participate in the training and coaching of first line managers to ensure they are able to effectively undertake the people management element of their role.
To provide proactive support to line managers, including providing legal information and updates to guide management decisions.
To provide and analyse management information to identify trends to enhance policy development, HR business processes and procedures.
To identify, recommend and develop improvements to policies, procedures and processes in line with best practice and employment legislation.

Fun, friendly and outgoing!
Experience from FM business or customer facing industry
Strong experience in employee relations
Passionate about service – both internal and external
Full CIPD is preferred
Experience of working in a diverse team of characters!
