The ideal candidate will have a keen knowledge/interest in support and technologies of print and associated applications of Canon Business Services, delivering to one of the country’s leading examination bodies – ideally with skills in technical support management in a print related environment.

Directly reporting into the General Manager, the Technical Support will work closely with the Technical Consultant and key stakeholders to support, develop and design applications and work flows in relation to studio and printed assessment materials and will progress through to completion dealing competently with any associated issues that may arise..

What We Give:
Working for a global leading organisation, you will be working in a Production Print environment supporting the ICT functions, development of programs and work flows across two sites. You will be required to:


Ensure that Management Information Systems are running correctly, perform testing, updates and system configuration as required.

Administer new developments as delivered by change management

A point of contact for system troubleshooting and liaison with the Canon Head Office ICT department if required.

Ensure that systems in conjunction with Canon Head Office ICT and the ICT and Security Operations Manager are correctly mirrored and backed up on the correct timely basis.

Create new reports to be used within the operation, both internal and by the customer.

Develop and maintain work flows via the current document composition software, GMC Inspire, ensuring efficiencies are in place for productivity in the Main Print Facility.

Self Development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills in this role through the support and guidance of your Manager.

You Will Need:

This role will be working across our two production facilities at Duxford and Papworth Everard, therefore having your own transport is critical. Working a 37.5 hour week, there is a degree of flexibility on the core working hours within the Monday to Friday working week.
