Category Specialist & Purchase to Pay Administrator
Salary: £Competitive

Our International pharmaceutical client is looking for an Administrator to support:

Duties & Responsibilities:
Category Management (50%) - Carry out necessary preparation, administration and documentation as required to lead the effective delivery of procurement services to the business in line with the agreed procurement SOP. Lead tenders for goods and services. Carry out Value For Money checks of discretionary investments made by Business Groups.

SAP Purchase to Pay (P2P) - Administrator (30%) The role encompasses best practice quality checking and validating SAP purchase requisitions prior to release, being the key P2P trainer for all Super Users and Europe North Users as required and assisting in resolving any SAP P2P user issues in a timely manner. Represent EMEA P2P area on any regional/ global SAP projects.

Procurement Analyst (20%) - To enhance the efficiency of the Procurement operation by generating and analysing EMEA category managed spend reports for use by the Business Effectiveness team and Senior Management (on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis).

Skills and Experience:
•Graduate/BTEC Calibre
•Procurement or Finance qualification preferred but not essential
•Excellent written and spoken English, a second language would be advantageous particularly French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish
•Demonstrated experience ideally in relevant Finance or Procurement role , other relevant roles will be considered
•Knowledge and experience of current purchasing and SAP preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
•Experience of project management
•Trained and experienced to at least intermediate level with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables etc.)
•Experience of leading tenders
