The Role:

Pipers is growing at pace and are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join their team at their main site in Brigg. This is a shift-based role currently on a double-days Monday to Friday pattern. In this role you will have the hands on responsibility of shift engineering activity including planned maintenance, breakdowns and continuous improvement work. You will also take ownership of the site planned maintenance programme and responsibility for compliance for your shift.

The Candidate:

For this role, it is essential that you are a time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working within an FMCG environment. You must also have a working knowledge of invertors, control systems, fluid mechanics, drive systems and pneumatics.

It is also desirable for you to have knowledge of LEAN manufacturing methods as well as Health and Safety qualifications. Given the nature of the role, you will also need to be a great team player who can be flexible in terms of working hours, and works well under pressure.
