Adept Resourcing Engineering Division are working with a client based in Rotherham who are looking for an Account Supervisor to join their team.

Job Role:

* Vet all enquiries, orders and schedules received from customers, establish that specifications, dimensions and requested delivery are within agreed mill limits, and negotiate alternatives when necessary.

* Ensure that orders are promptly and correctly entered into the order handling systems.

* For hire work customers maintain traceability of material through correct receipt into system, plan and load works orders in line with arrival date and despatch requirements. Where applicable manage supply chain including overseas, customer contracted logistics and other hire workers to meet customer needs.

* Maintain prompt handling of customers’ complaints by taking appropriate action, arranging a replacement, collection of reject goods and credit notes.

* Ensure that the pricing policy is applied and interpreted in accordance with Commercial objectives.

* Prepare and submit quotations

* Provide customers and FCT’s with up to date planning information that changes/ deviations are advised to customers immediately.

* Assist in stock management by utilising aged stock where appropriate and exploring alternatives.

* Apply for new credit accounts and ensure all customer information is entered into the system.

* Promote, maintain and improve sales potential for TSS products and ensure good customer relationships are formed and built upon.

* Deputise for the Account Manager as required/appropriate.

The Candidate:

* Qualified to degree standard in business discipline or equivalent experience.

* must be confident, articulate and able to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders.

* Have experience within a commercial environment.

* Detailed knowledge of Mill capabilities and order processing procedures.

* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a desirable quality, but all other IT skills are not essential as full training will be provided.
