Chase and Holland are excited to be working with an internationally recognised business who have been operating for over 100 years. We are assisting them in the recruitment of a temporary credit controller to work from their office based in Worksop.

The role is likely to last for 4-6 weeks and the successful candidate will be able to start quickly .

As part of a team, the main responsibilities of this role will be minimising the outstanding debt of the business as well as identifying any potential risks and working to effectively resolve the risks in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

Chasing customer payments to minimise bad debt,
Work to daily outbound phone targets set by the team leader,
Work on customer disputes and queries to assist in minimising outstanding debt,
Escalate queries where appropriate to the business owners,
Create and categorise outbound service requests.

Who should apply?

My client is keen to find someone who not only can start this assignment very quickly but who also has prior experience working in a finance role - ideally credit control - preferably in a high-volume role with tight deadlines and targets to work to. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required as you will be dealing with customers, external auditors, and internal employees within the business daily.

The right candidate will be joining a large team and so it is crucial that you are a good team player and are willing to help and support colleagues. The working hours are 8:30 AM to 17:00 PM Monday to Friday
