Orion Group are recruiting an IT Maintenance and Shop Floor Analyst (Permanent Role) on behalf of our Multinational Medical Device Client.

This role is based in North Scotland.

The roles and responsibilities include:

* Assist with the implementation of a new instance of Maximo. Partner with existing business partners and experienced Maximo users to assist in the implementation of a new version of Maximo.
* Assist in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of Maximo software upgrades and provide site acceptance for the software delivery
* Assist in the development and deployment of user training documentation.
* Run small to mid size software projects that will improve manufacturing productivity and enhance existing systems.
* Defining and executing changes within the Maximo platform to improve reliability and drive cost improvements
* Partner with global IT Teams to support initiatives such as Analytics, Business Intelligence and bring forward technology initiatives that can drive tangible business value.
* Provide support of regulated Supply Chain applications and systems to comply with cGMP regulations related to FDA, EU GMP Annex 11 and GAMP standards
* Help with writing, reviewing and executing computer validation documentation (Validation plan, IQ, OQ, DQ, SOP)
* Supports and/or actively participates in change control, and validation efforts.

Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

* Undergraduate degree in Computing, Information Technology or related Technical discipline
* OR HNC/HND in a technical subject with a desire to complete a degree

Skill Preferences:

* Experience of supporting Maximo would be ideal
* Experience of running small to mid software projects
* .Net or SQL Server expertise
* Some project management experience
* Experience of working in a regulated or controlled IT environment
* Demonstrable path of learning and continuous development within IT/Computing/Technical discipline
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
