SEN Teaching Assistant Person Specification
We are looking for a dedicated graduate who has school-based experience from a previous role and a second class degree at the very least. You will have an inclusive, well-differentiated approach to all lessons and a perpetually positive outlook. The school's perfect candidate is a graduate who can manage a busy work schedule and thrive in a school setting. You will be able to encourage your students to exceed all expectation and invest your time and support extra curricular activities.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role
At this forward-looking school, as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working on an individual basis with a Year 1 girl who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. Your strengths and weaknesses will be highlighted by the teachers you work with, who will the help you designing a CPD plan and various training activities to help you develop your teaching technique. You will be guided by the Special Educational Needs Coordinator and learn directly what it takes to produce successful pupil outcomes, both academically and pastorally.
