The role of a Cover Supervisor is challenging but can be very rewarding and is excellent experience for anyone considering a career in Teaching. Cover Supervisors are responsible for covering classes, delivering work set by the Teacher and ensuring that students remain on task.

We are currently working in partnership with schools in Bury, Bolton, Salford and Wigan who regularly book Cover Supervisors through GSL. Due to a constant, growing demand for Cover we are looking to add capable, confident, Cover Supervisors to our North West team.

These assignments are on an ad-hoc basis and there are a variety available of booking types including 1 day per week, 2 days, or even 5 days - the flexibility is there to suit all needs.

Whilst the work is not easy – you will gain experience, know-how and most importantly, practice which can supplement your CV and Teacher Training applications.

To be considered for this role, you must:

* Hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree class 2:2 or above

* Hold a valid Team Teach certificate (or be willing to complete Team Teach training)

* Be considering a PGCE/QTS course, OR

* Currently be working with children aged 11-19 in another setting (coaching, etc)

* Be flexible, resilient and calm under pressure.
