We have an opportunity available for a LGV Development Co-ordinator to join our friendly team based at our sites in North West. About the LGV Development Co-ordinator role: Your primary focus is to co-ordinate with all parties’ quality coaching and development to mainly employed learners within the logistics sector and to carry out training, coaching and mentoring where applicable. You will be responsible for the management of the learner’s journey making sure that all training and development is completed. You will ensure all learners are ready for their End Point Assessments by the planned date and effectively challenge learners to achieve distinction status where appropriate. As a LGV Development Co-ordinator you will act as the main point of contact for the learner, Mantra and local employer, ensuring all required documentation is completed to a high standard. You will also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement within the department and support team members. Key responsibilities as our LGV Development Co-ordinator: - To act as the main point of contact for learners, local employers and Mantra throughout the programme of learning. - To facilitate sign up and induction sessions - To plan and co-ordinate learning experiences for learners - To carry out high quality progress reviews - To access and analyse data available to determine performance - Record progress using digital systems where required and provide key data to the relevant people when requested. - Ensure all training elements are completed - To deliver quality coaching, support and IAG to meet employer and learner needs. - To deliver quality assessment in centre or on employer premises in keeping with the high standards . - Achieve key performance targets as agreed through regular staff reviews. - Working flexible hours to meet the needs of the department which may include a shift pattern if required Skills and Experience we are looking for in our LGV Development Co-ordinator: - Full driving license is essential - Intermediate IT skills using Microsoft Office packages and internet based applications - Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent - Math and English level 2 or equivalent (or working towards) - A1 Assessor award (Desirable but not essential) - PTLLS/L3 Education and training award (Desirable but not essential) - Training / coaching experience (even if informal) - Experience /background in transport/logistics sector - Be familiar with tachograph analysis software - Be familiar with telematics system and planning systems - Good knowledge of current legislation and driver regulations’ - Administration /IT system experience - Strong logistics/ transport background and knowledge - Able to analyse and interpret learning related data - Knowledge of management practices If you feel you have the skills and experience to become our LGV Development Co-ordinator then please click ‘Apply’ today!
