Head of School for Garden Design Full Time, Permanent (36 hours) Based at Enfield but will be Cross College £43,227 - £51,224 inclusive of London Weighting per annum Our client is the only College in London that aims to deliver outstanding and inspirational land-based learning opportunities across the Greater London region. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of School for Garden Design. The School of Garden Design at Capel Manor College has a well-established reputation for delivering high quality courses. Capel's course tutors all have exceptional skills with extensive knowledge and experience of the garden design industry. Students have access to 30 acres of gardens at our Enfield campus as well as wonderful plant collections and open spaces at Regent's Park, Gunnersbury Park and Crystal Palace Park to provide inspiration throughout their studies. Our garden design courses give young people and adults the opportunity to gain nationally and internationally recognised qualifications with the prospect of progressing to further study, higher education, employment or starting their own business venture whilst learning in a unique and supportive environment. The successful candidate will lead, develop, manage and co-ordinate (within the strategic parameters set by the Vice Principal responsible for the breadth of curriculum provision and Cross College Teaching and Learning) the development and delivery of a high quality, cost effective curriculum area which progresses towards and achieves the College's Strategic and Operational objectives in the curriculum area. The ideal candidate will be innovative and have strong links with the industry. They will be able to expand and promote the school by highlighting the amazing achievements of our students at National Shows e.g. The Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Palace Show.
