Based in central Scotland

This company are established manufacturers of Laboratory Furniture, Fume Cupboards and Extract Systems. They are based in East Kilbride and although the majority of their business is done within the central belt of Scotland, they regularly work throughout the UK.

As well as new installations, they also carry out annual servicing of LEV's/Fume Cupboards and Associated extract systems. Due to high demand in this field, they are now looking to grow their inspection team. They have some exciting opportunities for enthusiastic Service Engineers of varying levels to join them, with an immediate start available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your core responsibility will be visiting customer sites to carry out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) inspection projects. You will generally work alone or with one other engineer. The successful candidate/s will be predominantly based in the field, but with periods of being office and work-shop based.

The role involves visiting their customers' premises to carry out a 'Thorough Examinations & Test' and issue certification to confirm that their LEV's/Fume Cupboards are operating safely and are conforming to current standards. As well as carrying out inspections, a large part of the role will involve fault-finding, repairs and commissioning of Fume Cupboards. Use of the fault-finding methodology to root-cause mechanical and electrical system failures. Generate technical and detailed electronic reports.

Liaise with internal members of staff as well as external clients to ensure progress is maintained and deadlines are met. You will be expected to maintain and build strong client relationships while demonstrating high standards of personal presentation.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
They are looking for applicants who are reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft EXCEL and Microsoft WORD. Although specific LEV experience is desired, this is not crucial. Full LEV training will be provided. A background in electrical or mechanical fault-finding and/or service repairs would be looked upon favourably. A full UK driving licence is essential.

SALARY AND PACKAGE
They offer an attractive salary which will be dependent on qualifications and experience. The package will include a company vehicle (small van), mobile phone, laptop, test instrumentation, PPE, work-wear and tools.

They will provide a full training package and there will be scope for progression and promotion from within the company

If you think that you have the skills, experience and personality to join their Service Team, please apply now.
