An exciting multi-branded company and one of the UK's most successful, within the Outdoor & Snowsport Leisure Industry, is seeking to appoint an individual with passion, desire and a great "can do" attitude, to the following position.

JUNIOR SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

Location - Kelburn Business Park, Port Glasgow
Package - Competitive Salary with benefits

Working within the Supply Chain Department and reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will be involved in all aspects of the planning & logistics of incoming stock from a wide supplier base, working specifically with suppliers situated in the Far East.

You will be required to undertake the following tasks/functions: -

- Provide administrative support to the Senior Supply Chain Planner in Forecasting, Stock Management, Generation of Purchase Orders and Freight Management.
- Maintain accurate Supply Chain and Stock records using the company's ERP system. Analyse supplier delivery schedules and ensure suppliers meet planned shipment dates.
- Liaise with internal & external suppliers and customers, regarding shipment dates and stock availability.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support throughout the Supply Chain Team.

This opportunity will appeal to an ambitious, resourceful self-starter, who shall have an avid interest in Outdoor pursuits, particularly participation in Camping & Trekking.

Your personal attributes will include: -

- Previous experience of working within a Supply Chain/Administrative based environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
- Ability to speak Mandarin; highly advantageous but not essential.
- A high level of computer literacy, including MS Office and ideally with Intermediate Excel skills.
- Analytical and organisational skills (Customer Service skills).
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative attitude.
- General commercial awareness, with the ability to relate operational decisions to commercial impact.
- A "can do" attitude.
