Due to the success of the company, we are now looking to grow and expand and therefore require a Trainee Workshop Engineer within the Service department. This role is workshop based out of our Tewkesbury office though at times you may be required to travel around various locations around England and Wales. The Job Purpose Summary is to provide service and support of the equipment at our workshop and assist the engineers at customer’s air quality sites, under the direction of our Senior Service Engineer. The Key Responsibilities will be: Follow daily schedule set by the Senior Service Engineer Assist with routine and non routine service work in the workshop. Assist with assessing and undertaking repairs of equipment returned to the workshop. Assisting with completing relevant paperwork on a prompt basis including service reports, risk assessments and method statements. Assisting with maintaining stock and tools and ensuring regular reports are submitted on time. The ideal candidate will Have achieved grades C in GCSE’s (or similar) in Maths and English. Have a good knowledge of electronics or electronic principles. Have good communication skills. Be keen to develop their professional and personal skills and have new experiences and responsibilities. Have a good attention to detail Be able to work both on their own to specific deadlines and take the initiative for certain tasks and work as part of a team as and when required. Be well presented. Have a full clean driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided when working in the field. Package includes: Salary depending on experience Full In house training Employer contributing pension scheme Uniform Computer Working hours are 34 per week, being Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4pm with an hour for lunch every day.
