Copywriter Location: Surrey Ref 673 “Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you.” Our client is an outstanding Events agency who create exceptional events, communications and digital solutions for their clients. They design and create every aspect of an event, communication or digital campaign with their aim always to maximise the impact of audience engagement! This role will be based in their new, modern office in Surrey. They are looking for a copywriter to work alongside the creative & engagement team to conceptualize and crystalise their key communications, your words will inform and engage our target audiences. To support on the delivery of a diverse range of inspirational and engaging communication projects across all Clients, both internal and external. Most of all, they are looking for someone who enjoys what they do and never be afraid to go the extra mile to exceed their client expectations. Key responsibilities and accountabilities of the Copywriter: Client Management Support the Client team in the preparation of RFP & Proposals as required Attend Client pitch / presentation as required Writing & Communications Understanding client strategy, being able to distil complex problems into finely articulated sentences Preparation of communication and content aspects of all projects (both internal & external) Writing clear, concise and engaging copy for drafting of written communications e.g. emails, presentations, internal newsletters websites, blog posts, articles for clients in an engaging and accurate manner Make use and manage a variety of internal engagement platforms, e.g. Yammer, intranets and purpose-built internal websites Rolling out of email campaigns e.g. Campaign Monitor Help to oversee and deliver content e.g. videos, photos and posters. Sourcing content for projects e.g. Researching speakers and facilitators Props for events Giveaways and other tools for embedding messages. Maintaining content and communication databases of suppliers Accurate & timely Proof Reading and content checking as required Proven ability to think creatively and ‘outside of the box’ Able to apply excellent ‘English’ written and verbal communication Adhere to client specific SLA’s and process requirements where necessary Attend meetings within the project team to understand the requirements of the project Attend ‘kick off’ meetings ‘briefings’ and ‘de-brief’ meetings as and when required Client Governance Liaison with Governance Team to ensure all process documents are up to date and accurate Ensure compliance with client and company SLA’s Ensure compliance with all client and company privacy and security protocols Ensure compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) 2018 Regulations Budget Reconciliation & Finance Management When involved in budgets to ensure: Client SLA’s are taken into account Profit maximization Accurate charging of costs (Supplier & Expenses) to the budget Ensure prompt reconciliation post event (maximum 30 working days or client specific) Manage and submit personal expenses and credit card reconciliations within timeframes specified HubPlanner Input of timesheet activity on a weekly basis General Work collaboratively with Board, Peers and all teams to ensure effective delivery of all client projects Attend company training days as and when required Attend company meetings as and when required This role would also suit: Copywriter, Senior Copywriter, Communications Manager, Copy Editor, Senior Copy Editor, Creative Copywriter Copywriter, Senior Copywriter, Communications Manager, Copy Editor, Senior Copy Editor, Creative Copywriter Copywriter, Senior Copywriter, Communications Manager, Copy Editor, Senior Copy Editor, Creative Copywriter
