Role: Sales Ledger Clerk Location: Northampton Salary: £18,000 - £20,000, depending on experience Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 till 17:00 The Clerical Finance Division at the SF Group has been approached to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on the behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in Northampton. This is a newly created role due to my client taking on a new contract. You will be reporting directly in to the Finance Manager and will be working with an established finance team. Responsibilities as the Sales Ledger Clerk: This is a start to finish Sales Ledger role, looking after circa 900 live customer accounts with a ledger value of approximately £7m. - Inputting invoices - Raising invoices - Allocating cash - Sending invoices to customers - Dealing with customer invoices queries - Liaising with other branches - Chasing customer accounts via email, telephone and writing - large and small customer accounts - Setting up and amending customer account details - Producing debtors reports - Assisting the wider finance department during business periods Skills and Experience required by the Sales Ledger Clerk: - Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a varied Sales Ledger role - Excellent communication skills - Attention to detail skills - Ability to work in a busy environment - Confident in meeting strict deadlines This Sales Ledger Clerk role would suit candidates who have the above experience and are looking for a long term stable role.
