Our client, a fantastic market organisation, is currently recruiting for a Field Technician to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide installation and maintenance support of hardware and software in customers? homes. You will need to be professional, courteous and provide fantastic customer service. The technician is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data from the metering equipment and software in customers? homes. *** You will be based in the Hertfordshire covering the whole of the Hertfordshire area *** Important Information: The successful field technical will be expected to work 1 Saturday in every 3 Saturdays The successful candidate will receive a company car to use for work and personal use. You must maintain the company vehicle in a roadworthy, clean condition at all times The field technician will work a 36-hour week and will need to be flexible on changeable working hours The successful field technician will need to have a full, clean driver?s license Key responsibilities: Install and maintain hardware equipment and software in customers homes. Educate customers in the correct use and care of the hardware and software Remove television monitoring equipment and monitoring software from homes that wish to leave the incentive Store monitoring equipment in safe conditions when not installed in customers? homes Ensure that you have the right stock levels of hardware and software to effectively carry out installations Resolve or escalate any problems caused by monitoring equipment or software in a timley manner Report all field activity, including appointments, visits made, mileage etc. Timely return all faulty meter equipment, clearly labelled. Ensure SLA?s (Service Level Agreements) are satisfied within specific timeframes. Key Skills and experience: Proven track record working within a field technician role installing and troubleshooting hardware and software Demonstrable experience of A/V installation in domestic environments Technical ability to install and service TV metering equipment (The meters are non-invasive, meaning that it is not necessary to open TV sets and other devices) A thorough understanding of A/V routing (scart, RGB, Composite video, HDMI) Good working knowledge of home networking, routers, Windows PC`s and Apple Macs The ability to work without direct supervision to a high standard Outstanding customer service skills For more information, please contact Georgia Harris at Clearwater People Solutions or apply as directed.
