Role: Production Engineer My client is an innovative and revolutionary cyber-security start-up based in Central London, their technology will be supplied into a broad array of industries and they already have huge multinational organisations as customers. Since they were founded, their technology has been a huge success and they are now looking to ramp up production further. This is a unique opportunity to step up the career ladder within a progressive cyber security company based in the heart of London. The focus of this role is to develop the testing and production capability as they scale up into large volume manufacturing. Based in London, it is very accessible using either underground or overground routes, with a major station less than 5 minutes from the front door. Role description •Improvement of production testing through process automation and wider test coverage •Creation and documentation of production procedures for use internally and by subcontractors •Design and develop bespoke test systems to enable manufacture •Configuration control of system builds through creation and modification of BoMs, documentation and release artefacts •Development of business and quality processes to support production builds •Multi-disciplinary working in both hardware and software environments •Support of full system lifecycle from manufacture to customer delivery and support •Comfortable using lab equipment and in the automation of tasks to streamline production, test and debug procedures. •Scripting in python and bash to support production Experience - *(This is a wish list, not you not required to tick every box)* •Experience in high-end electronic testing and debug in development and production environments •New product introduction experience, working closely with technical engineers •Demonstrated interest in all aspects of electronic manufacturing and test •Programming and scripting skills (in particular Bash, Python and C/C++) •Knowledge of FPGAs and VHDL code •Use of Linux command-line environment •Thorough understanding of electronic manufacturing processes •Minimum Degree educated – Ideally Electronics Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits This is a brand new requirement and my client is looking to bring a Production Engineer on board as soon as possible.
