Marketing Intelligence- Senior Manager / Analyst Our client is one of the largest and most successful media planning and buying companies, as well as one of the most awarded media agencys. We have an exciting opportunity within for a Senior Manager/Analyst to join this award-winning agencys Marketing Intelligence team. Marketing intelligence provides data driven insight, agency tools and ad-hoc projects and services to the agency and clients. There are 3 parts of the Marketing Intelligence team, and this role sits within the Marketing Sciences unit. About you: You’re skilled in data analytics and data visualisation; a creative problem solver always looking for new solutions to a challenge; passionate and able to take the lead with an entrepreneurial flair. About the role: Lead, manage and deliver simultaneous paid-for media analytics projects to clients Develop new services within our clients with a commercial focus Build up a good knowledge of our clients to be able to appropriately use analytical output to answer our clients’ questions and identify questions they didn’t ask Drive usage and application of insights and learning through the business, centrally and locally Be part of the agencys Marketing Sciences community, sharing and collaborating with other analysts. Skills: Essential Numerate or sciences degree. Eg: statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, social sciences. Excellent understanding of advanced statistical techniques such as A/B Testing, ANOVA, SEM, predictive modelling - both classification and regression (especially for MMM), and clustering/segmentation. Significant experience in using statistical analysis and data manipulation tools such as R, Python and SQL. Understand the importance of data quality and accuracy, with extensive experience and understanding of data cleansing and processing. Happy to juggle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to tell stories with data, and effectively articulate the value of data to senior stakeholders. Creative in the way they solve problems and able to ‘think outside the box’ to find solutions to business challenges. A proactive and curious learner; keen to develop and learn new skills independently and share and collaborate this with a wider team Desirable but not essential 3+ years in a similar media based role with both offline and online media data and analytics experience Postgraduate degree Experience with data visualization tools (RShiny, Tableau, Datarama) to represent complex data relationships and deliver compelling visual output. Commercial machine learning experience from a media environment
