Customer Accounts Assistant
Location: Hailsham
Salary: £18k
Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm
(due to location you will need your own transport)

I have great pleasure in supporting our client in the recruitment of a Customer Accounts Assistant to join their busy and friendly team based in their offices in Hailsham.

The role will be to manage accounts, assess credit limits, collect payments and setting up payment plans.

Responsibilities:

* Chasing overdue monies from customers
* Assessing credit ratings and setting credit limits
* Setting up payment plans, writing letters
* Liaising with the account manager
* Updating Excel spreadsheets
* Dealing with clients over the phone
* Updating the system with accurate information
* Running weekly debtor reports
* Taking customer payments via the PDQ system

The right candidate will have the following:

* Outstanding customer service experience
* Excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Well organised and the ability to work to deadlines
* If you fluent in another Spanish, French or Italian it would be an advantage
