Recruitment and Progressions Officer. Launch Pad. Full time. Permanent.
We have an exciting and demanding vacancy for a Recruitment and Progressions officer who will assist with the recruitment and interviewing of students and support them to gain sustainable progression opportunities following one of the Launch Pad programmes. The successful candidate will work with marketing and careers advisors to promote Launch Pad and attend events as necessary. They will liaise with various organisations including the Home Education department at the local authority. The role will also include organising work experience with employers, carrying out health and safety checks and administering the recording of this on the Promonitor system. The successful candidate will liaise with internal departments, Curriculum Areas and Student Services, with regard to placing students, participate on the Safeguarding Committee, liaise with schools and take part in promotional activities.
The successful applicant will need to have recent and relevant experience, preferably with some experience of arranging work experience and liaising with employers. You will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative. You must also have highly effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to work accurately and meet tight deadlines.
Applicants need to have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent) as well as a minimum Level 2 qualification in IT and / or equivalent Microsoft Word/Excel experience. You will required to work flexibly and on occasion at different locations.
The successful candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm or 9.00 am to 5pm.
