Job purpose/ key responsibilities Full remote support of existing customer equipment including remote diagnostic, fault finding and call handling. Supporting the installation and integration of new equipment into existing networks at customer sites Support to the field team on technical issues/questions with the integration of Computed Radiography, Digital Radiography and PACS to customer sites; and advice on server integration, backup strategies and network security. Utilising the business processes to ensure that service and repair flows are at their most efficient. Handling incoming and outgoing support calls / emails Setup of IT equipment where required Occasional customer site visits to install / maintain imaging equipment Participation in out of hours service (once a month) Maintaining customer records on business management system (SAP) Escalating service exceptions to Lead IT engineer Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure service call resolution Provide training on imaging equipment to internal staff and external customers Creation of new product technical documentation Other duties as required. Education/ experience Educated to HND/Degree level in a relevant technical or IT subject would be advantageous Previous networking experience in particular installing and debugging TCP/IP domain networks Previous customer facing experience Knowledge of SAP or other CRM systems would be beneficial but not essential French language skills would be advantageous Competencies/ key characteristics An open and flexible approach to customer service is a key attribute.
