Support desk - network security products

This role has arisen due to internal promotion. You will work on a support desk providing telephone and email support to customers on a variety of vendors products in the network security, performance and monitoring arena.

You MUST have prior support experience (ideally a couple of years or equivalent) and should have knowledge in some of the following (breadth of experience more important than expertise in 1 area)

TCP/IP & Physical Networking (Cisco or Juniper CCNA/JNCIA)

Security ( encryption, anti-virus, firewalls, IPS, authentication)

Telephony (VOIP and Mobile)

Cloud environments / Virtualisation

Network monitoring (SNMP, Traffic analysis, netflow)

Windows & Linux environments

PC hardware

Experience with products from companies like cisco juniper netscout riverbed aruba gigamon mcafee Blue coat etc

You will work on a desk doing earlies / lates to cover from 8 - 5:30 (so 8-4:30 or 9-5:30) friendly close knit team and many many opportunities for training, due to the reason for the role you can see they actively recruit from within when higher roles come up and over time they allow you to move towards a more technical support role or more sales like consultancy type role or man management dependant upon your skills and abilities.

Own transport preferred but possible by public transport
