This post provides an opportunity to influence, advise and see your work make an impact on decision-making. You will give guidance on the process to modify licences and industry codes, and on code governance policy. Working in a collaborative, team-focused environment, you will ensure that code modification decisions are based upon robust processes and consistent decision-making. The credibility to manage and influence internal and external stakeholder relationships is essential, with the proactive approach needed to assess and solve problems and advise colleagues at all levels. You will also regularly represent Ofgem at industry meetings, such as industry code panels. This is an exceptional opportunity to deepen your understanding of working within a legislative framework. A graduate or equivalent, you must have proven analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills – ideally gained in an environment where you have worked with a regulatory framework or similarly complex change management or governance processes. Good interpersonal, communication and team-working skills are vital, as is the drive to build your knowledge quickly and the confidence to represent Ofgem at industry code panel meetings.
