SEGA Amusements International is actively recruiting for a Workshop Engineer. The position is located in our Chessington office and involves loading/unloading, installation, repairing, refurbishing and maintenance of the Sega Amusements product range .

This role is a vital part of our business and the role is key to ensuring that our machines are maintained to the highest standards and repaired quickly and efficiently.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the maintenance, upgrading, installation and refurbishment of the full range of Sega Amusements equipment according to specification, to a high standard and on time.
  • Prepare machines for sale or operation
  • Ensure all products are working correctly so as to maximise income opportunities
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements and ensure workshop area is kept clean, safe and tidy
  • Occasionally visit sites around the UK or overseas for installation of machines

Required Keys and Experience

  • Ideally, at least 2 years’ experience servicing/refurbishing electronic equipment/products
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential
  • Ability to do woodwork/metalwork to a reasonable standard and use spray paints and power tools to a safe and competent level
  • Hands on approach to installing and maintaining the full range of SEGA products
  • Ability to carry out a significant amount of manual handling
  • Hold a current full driving licence and ideally be able to drive a forklift truck (training will be given for the right candidate)
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures including manual handling of machinery

Experience (or an interest) in the amusement machine industry would be an advantage and we would consider recently qualified applicants.

Working Hours : Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 17:00pm and Friday 08:00am to 15:30pm
