A leading insurance company that operates in the Lloyd's market is currently seeking a Compliance Assistant to join them.

Working as part of a small team, you will develop positive relationships across the business to ensure that compliance processes are embedded fully, promoting a positive compliance culture.

Duties include:

  • Monitoring applicable legislation, regulation and rules.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual compliance plan.
  • Resolve day-to-day compliance issues across the business.
  • Assist with the preparation of non-financial regulatory and quasi-regulatory returns, applications and notifications.
  • Assist in the review and investigation of complaints received from third-parties.
  • Assist with broker and cover holder due-diligence and administration.
  • Maintain company intranet pages.
  • Maintain gifts and hospitality registers.

You will:

  • Have at least 12 months experience of working in risk or compliance in an insurance business (ideally Lloyd's market).
  • Possess analytical skills and be detail orientated.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
