Advisor, Seafarer Health - Shore Based - Southampton

This critical role within the Health Services department will be supporting those seafarers on medical leave. This vital role is based at the impressive Carnival UK Headquarters in Southampton, paying a competitive salary with benefits including pension, huge discounts on our cruises and more. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advisor, Seafarer Health within the Health Services department at Carnival UK’s Head office in Southampton.

The overall purpose of the role is to support our seafarers on medical leave; you will play an important part in the activities within Seafarer Health and the greater Health Services team. Some of the key responsibilities are as follows:


Work closely with the other members of Seafarer Health in the management of all seafarer health related issues.
Case management of seafarers who have been medically disembarked or who are sick on leave
Manage and support specialist activities and projects within Seafarer Health and Health Services
Support the day to day activities of the Health Services department.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role will possess the following requirements;

Essential:



A minimum of five GCSE's (A_C) or equivalent



Desirable:


Maritime experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes including Excel, use of databases including management and interpretation of data.
