Regional Technical Engineering Manager
We are currently looking for a Regional Technical Engineering Manager to join a global Medical Device business that specialise in diagnostic equipment covering Central UK (East & West Midlands). As the Regional Technical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing available resources and support on all of the diagnostic products in the portfolio. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Regional Technical Engineering Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. You will manage a team of Electro-mechanical field service engineers and support on all of the large to medium diagnostic products in the portfolio. 2. You will perform installations, maintenance and repair modifications on large to medium equipment when necessary to private services and laboratories in your territory and ensure service is delivered as agreed. 3. As the Regional Technical Engineering Manager, you will use your in-depth electrical expertise of troubleshooting medical devices and strong analytical skills to manage any critical situations/ issues with customers. 4. You will be required to travel extensively across the Midlands and work closely with the Sales team to ensure seamless sales to your allocated territory. 5. Work closely with other Regional Service Managers on wider field service strategy across the UK. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Regional Technical Engineering Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant degree/ONC/HNC in a electrical or electronics background. 2. Proven industry experience as a Field Service Manager/Team Leader in a Medical Device, Diagnostics, Life Science Instrumentation or other relevant Service Engineering industry. 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with leading Electro-Mechanical engineering teams in a field based customer facing position.
