AWE are currently recruiting for a SlaM Lead to work in the Information Services division of the business, reporting into the Service Transition Manager on a permanent basis. The SIaM Lead is responsible for the Production and Support of a SIaM Operating Model in place for Transition (on-boarding new cloud suppliers) Incident, Problem and Change Management with a Service Request catalogue for Cloud Services. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities· Establish and maintain an ITIL Based Service Management, with a "Cloud First" Strategy operating within a Service Integration and Management (SIaM) business operating model for IT. SIaM will be run in-house. Processes are of a mature nature (around CMMi L 2.5-3).· Aim is to re-use and build on existing pockets of best practice across the IT Teams,· Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality.· Working with AWE teams to identify existing policy, process and procedure documentation.· Identifying any gaps in the existing Process Stack and produce documentation to fill those gaps.· Develop standard document templates for each process stack level.· Standardise the documentation to establish a consistent delivery and approach.· Develop a document control and review process, including audit, to ensure all documents are kept up to date and fit for purpose during a period of major change.· Support the transfer of the documents to the Document Management Tool, when agreed.· Supporting the communication and education of suppliers and internal teams. Skills and Experience· ITIL Certified· Service Management background, any SIaM experience would be an advantage· Document writing skills· Collaborative working as part of a team and across the wider AWE· Take accountability and responsibility for the role and its successful completion AWE plays a crucial role in the defence of the United Kingdom, by providing and maintaining the warheads for the country's nuclear deterrent.
