Data Centre Services Management or Service Design Authority - DV Clearance LOCATION: GloucestershireDURATION: 12 Months Contract - option to extend based on personal performanceDAILY RATE: Highly Competitive - dependent on candidate's level of experienceCONDITIONS: Candidates that hold DV Clearance is preferred, however SC Cleared and non-cleared candidates eligible to undergo DV clearance will be considered for this post. RoleWe are looking to put together a talented and experienced Data Centre Services Management or Service Design Authority to ensure all Data Centres under your responsibility are operated in a safe and efficient manner, complying fully with the relevant site policies and Data Centre Central governance.The post will require you to undertake the role of security liaison. This will include liaison with the appropriate onsite & offsite security staff manage the day to day security, overarching accreditation and appropriate management of information across the business and Supplier organisations.The post will also require you at times to undertake different roles within the business to ensure continuity of service to the customers. Key responsibilities:Managing and ensuring compliance with all relevant site policies and central policies covering but not limited to Health & Safety, Installation and SecuritySecurity - responsible for all Security Management plansHealth & Safety - accountable for the health & safety of all personnel acting on behalf of the department (not the supplier) on the in scope site and data sites which includes but is not limited to the approval of relevant method statementsCapacity & Demand Management to ensure efficient use of the data centreControl the Planning and Installation of IT and data centre Infrastructure managing the relationship between appropriate SMEs from the site, suppliers and customersCustomer interface for all data centre supplier relationshipsMaintain a working relationship with the wider eco system stakeholders to ensure the maximum possible availability of the data centre and maintaining the quality of the services provided.
