You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and be available to work any hours according to the needs of the service. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £21,527 - £22,698 per annum. We seek an enthusiastic, positive, highly skilled Manager to support and enable a dynamic group of individuals to achieve positive outcomes. Key duties and responsibilities of our Houseleader: - Lead and manage effectively a service to at least 7 people in three flats at the Loom, ensuring that excellent person centred care and support is provided - Enable each person with a Learning Disability to live the best life possible, to maximise their independence and to respond to the changing needs of individuals - Ensure services are provided in the spirit of the Identity, mission and ethos of L’Arche and are inspired by the Community Mandate - Effectively supervise, manage and work with the employed Assistants of the service at the Loom, to ensure that they are well supported and equipped for their roles - Be an active member of L’Arche leadership team, working to the Registered Manager, and engaging in the delivery of the organisation’s objectives, developing solutions and working to ensure that the highest standards are achieved in the three dimensions of Community, spirituality, and service provision, in line with our Identity and Mission statement - Be responsible for the successful running of the service, in line with the requirements of regulatory bodies and organisational policies and procedures - Operational delivery and management of basic financial controls; have a clear understanding of the hours of support and budgets for each service, ensuring delivery of service balances against the agreed support plans and budgets agreed - There is an expectation that this role will be 60% off rota and 40% on rota to support people directly. It contributes to On call What we’re looking for in our Houseleader: You will be experienced in supporting people with different experiences arising from ASD, learning and physical disabilities. You will already have experience of team leadership.
