We are a global leader in the financial services industry and seeking a talented Video Team Lead to join our dynamic and innovative team and to manage 2 regions – UK and South Africa. A passionate designer with a clear understanding of creative, AV techniques, software, post-production and industry trends, and interest in improved workflow techniques, including localisation

Essential
• A minimum of 7 years professional design experience
• Video production, motion graphics, visual effects, and interactive experience
• Proven experience in sound design / editing and video post-production
• Line Management experience NB
• Experience of screen capture software, mobile emulator software
• Experience in all aspects of video and motion graphic production, inc camera operation
• Thorough understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles
• Strong command of Adobe CC Production Suite (Production Premium – After Effects, Premier Pro, Final Cut, Audition) understanding of Cinema 4D
• Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Desirable
• Understanding and appreciation of video standards across mobile devices
• HTML5
• Exposure to live broadcast
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Video asset management, streaming and cloud services


Job Responsibilities:
• To create video and animated content in accordance with existing brand and design guidelines
• To develop workflow, style guides and best practice techniques for audio visual and post production work
• To drive new technologies in how we present and produce video
• To lead a team of video/motion graphics editors in London and abroad
• To develop, coach and mentor team members, providing direction and guidance when required
• To provide design and production support to other departments when called upon
• Manage the workflow of the team, flagging any dependencies or risks to the Ops team and the Head of Global Marketing Operations.
• Work closely with content and design teams to ensure that we have effective design solutions for all our marketing campaigns.
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Global Marketing Operations
