Field Care Supervisor
We are searching for an experienced an experienced Field Care Supervisors or Senior home carer to come and join our growing team. Reporting to the Care Manager, and working alongside the rest of our team, our Field Care Supervisor will work with clients and their families to ensure care plans are up to date and effective. They will supervise and manage home care assistants to ensure they deliver care out in field in line with the company’s high standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practice. This is a key role for our agency and typical responsibilities will include: Review and update clients care packages to ensure care plans Complete quality assurance audits such as spot checks, competency checks, activity log and medication audits and Supervisions with carer’s to ensure quality standards are being met in field Assist with induction training to new starters Assist with the delivery of refresher training to existing staff in a professional and engaged manner Cover care visits when required To participate in On-call duties as part of a rota Take a multi-disciplinary approach (when required) when reviewing and managing client queries or changes in their care Key skills to do this role Strong experience working within Domiciliary Care in a senior role i.e. senior carer or Field Care Supervisor Deep understanding of Health and Social Care regulation and best practice – ideally NVQ level 3 (or working towards) in Health and Social Care Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast paced sector Strong verbal and written communication Strong planning, organisation and prioritising skills Have a methodical and thorough approach to work Strong team working skills as well as the ability to work independently Good attention to detail Managing own time to deliver work to standards required Strong IT skills – MS Office, CareFree, Smart phone technology, using tablet technology Willingness to learn and continually develop skills and knowledge The benefits: Full time role working 4 days in the weekday and alternative weekends (Some flexibility may be required as and when necessary) Salary £20,000 to £22,000 per annum depending on experience Paid Mileage Pension, Holiday and Sick pay Company mobile phone Refer a Friend scheme - £150 Support towards further training and development in Health & Social Care for those looking to develop a successful career in care Company social events Work for a small independent family owned company – be a face with a name not a number!
