We are looking for a new member to join our Health & Wellbeing Volunteer Service in the following position:
Health & Wellbeing Volunteer Coordinator
Part-time (21 hrs per week)
Voluntary Norfolk is funded by North Norfolk and South Norfolk NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups to deliver a Health & Wellbeing Volunteer Service, recruiting, training, supporting and matching volunteers to help people with people with long-term conditions to achieve health improvement goals & promote independent living.
As part of this service we are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator in North Norfolk whose role will be to recruit, support match volunteers and visit, assess and review service users, developing support plans and identifying goals which volunteers can support them to achieve.
We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, team player and has the ability to support both service users and volunteers to achieve health improvement goals. Experience of supporting and managing volunteers would be useful along with some understanding of health and social care issues but full training will be provided.
Post is offered until 30th September 2019
Salary: £21,693 per annum pro rata 37 hrs per week
Base: This position will be based (hot-desking 2 days a week) at Fakenham Hub, Norfolk County Council Adult Social Services, 28 Norwich Road, Fakenham NR21 8BBand 1 day a week at (hot-desking) North Norfolk Early Help Hub, North Norfolk District Council, Council Offices, Holt Road, Cromer NR27 9EN
