Our Hospital has 3 state of the art Theatres and a 33 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Bariatrics, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT. We have a Theatre refurbishment planned for early 2019 bringing even greater technology to our services

Duties and responsibilities

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will assist in Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism. As a Theatre Practitioner you will assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

Who we are looking for

Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse/ODP with 12 months recovery experience and be used to working in teams with minimum supervision. Competent across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through a practitioner qualification, additional training is also desirable.
