Role overview

We are looking to appoint an accomplished Finance Manager, to join our Staffordshire team. In this challenging and high profile role, you will be responsible for providing financial and commercial support to executive stakeholders, driving forward successful decision making and business performance. You will also be responsible for monthly accounts production, and the budgeting and forecasting reporting, as well as assisting in management of the client’s accounts in a partnering environment.

Reporting to the Head of Finance you will work as part of the senior leadership team to provide a clear view of business performance and lead, develop and drive financial planning and analysis activities. This is a commercially focused Finance position that will work closely with our Head of Commercial and Operations Directors to manage contract performance, as well as key stakeholders across the group. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a small team of Finance professionals.

What we are looking for;

* Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with significant post qualification experience

* Extensive experience of business forecasting and modelling

* Financial Modelling, should be comfortable with developing and creating financial models, being proficient in the use of MS Excel to an advanced level

* Operates at executive level with regular exposure to main board directors

* Effective leadership skills with a flair for the management and development of Finance professionals

* Highly developed communication skills

* Experience of working within Infrastructure environment, specifically Highways, Rail, Construction would be preferred.

* Knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage
